The Association of Pet Boarding & Grooming (Qld) is the peak representative body in Queensland for the kennel & grooming industry. Established in 1992 as a non-profit organisation by a group of independent kennel owners, the Association has been successfully providing members with essential information, help and support to operate their businesses efficiently and effectively. With members throughout Queensland and Northern NSW the Association represents business owners from an extensive area.

AIMS OF THE ASSOCIATION

to promote a high standard of animal care within our profession
to promote a higher professional image for our members
to act as a lobby group on issues that concern or threaten our members and their livelihoods.

In consideration of our aim we strive to promote, protect and foster good relations between all levels of government, those working in the industry and the pet owning public. Our members abide by a code of practice that helps protect animals in our care.

Through this website pet owners can access information and details on pet boarding and grooming in order to choose a kennel, cattery or groomer that are Association members and are bound to uphold the Associations “code of ethics”.
